Our mission is simple.
Burnaby Family Life’s mission is to deliver high quality services that meet the current and emerging needs of individuals, families and the community in all its diversity. We facilitate and empower collaborative community solutions to enable all to reach their full potential.
For an annual minimum contribution of $5, your membership is an endorsement of our work, a meaningful way to recognize the value of what we do. It’s your way to encourage us to keep developing and delivering life-changing programs and services that contribute to making Burnaby a great place to call home.

Since 1971, Burnaby Family Life has taken pride in responding to the changing needs of our community. Our team work every day at actualizing our vision of creating a healthy and inclusive community where individuals and families can thrive.
We provide services unique to the parenting experience and we work to create an inclusive and caring community where each one of us feels a sense of belonging and connection.
Our work includes:
Delivery of learning programs and resources that promote confident parenting and connected families;
Support of expecting and new mothers with at-risk pregnancies;
Counselling for victims of abuse and trauma;
Guidance and support for immigrants with barriers to integration;
Hosting of the Burnaby Intercultural Planning Table where we organize public events that celebrate diversity and provide opportunities that increase our understanding and awareness of each other;
Convening of the Burnaby Community Action Table where we coordinate a community response to the opioid catastrophe through outreach, and
Operation of three licensed child care centres in Burnaby.
