For individuals serving on the Board of Burnaby Family Life, the following commitments and requirements are essential:
They should govern in accordance with the established policy of the Board (Carver).
They need to enhance the diversity of input during the Board’s deliberations.
Board members must commit to attending up to 10 meetings annually in Burnaby.
Participation in special meetings.
Members must align with Burnaby Family Life’s Vision and Mission.
They should be willing to join board committees as required.
Board members are encouraged to proactively bring information and ideas to the Board's attention.
