Burnaby South Child Care Centre

Burnaby South Child Care Centre is a license infant and toddler program and a Young Parent Program located in Burnaby South Secondary School.  The Young Parent Program provides a supportive environment for pregnant and parenting students while they continue their secondary school education. We work with the school to provide child care for the parents attending the YP program.

Additional spaces that are not being utilized by the YP program are available to the community. The community spaces are initially available on a month-to month basis when new families start, but can become permanent depending on availability.

This program is selected as a Universal Child Care Prototype site where parents pay a maximum of $200 a month.

To Register

We are currently experiencing a high volume of waitlist submissions for our daycare program with minimal spots becoming available each year. At this time our waitlist is closed. Please note if you have previously added your child’s name to the waitlist, it does not guarantee a spot will be available.

  • We will only be able to contact those selected for a space and due to the volume of submissions we will not be able to speak to your child’s placement once on the waitlist.

To register as a young parent secondary student call 604-296-6880 ext. 605173
