Women of the World|
Women of the World is a relationship-building and mentoring program that has been formed to support the attachment of new immigrant women to their communities and to the workforce by providing them with personal and professional guidance, assistance and support.
WOW includes: One-to-one relationship building, a monthly support group, personal and professional development workshops, networking opportunities, and participation in fun community events. This year, the WOW program runs from September 2009 until the end of March 2010 and also includes events and a woman-to-woman mentoring component delivered in partnership with Douglas College and Immigrant Services Society of BC. If you are interested to find out more about Women of the World or to apply to be a Mentee or Mentee, please email charlene.sanjenko@gmail.com.
