Like many other businesses, Grand Villa Casino likes to give a little bit back to the community... or in their case, they're giving a lot back!

Burnaby Family Life was honoured to receive a donation of $3,096 as a contribution to the work that we do here. Their donation helps our charity to offer critical services to the people who need it most in our community.

But they've done it again! With our 40th anniversary in 2011, they've agreed to be the lead sponsor for our celebrations and contributed a very generous $5,000 to support our mission.

Their donation ensures that our counselling programs for survivors of abuse and trauma are able to stay afloat. Despite a long waiting list and increased demand from the community, we do not have sufficient government funding for these services and our counselling program operates at a deficit. Without the contributions of local businesses like Grand Villa Casino, we wouldn't be able to continue helping our clients, who are in desperate need of support and healing.
