A FREE 8 session educational and support program for parents with children under age 6 who haven’t had a chance to explore parenting ideas in a group setting. Free childcare, snack and transportation are provided, if required. For more information and to register call 604-659-2200.

Nobody’s Perfect 2

This program is a support & educational group for parents with children under 6 years of age, who have previously attended some other parenting group. Learn skills to strengthen your relationship with your child, understand your child's development and behviour, explore who you are and who you want to be as a parent and share experiences with other parents. Raising Teens without Battles

Adolescence is a time of change, when teens begin to spread their wings. Shifting relationships often create challenges and frustration. This program provide parents with strategies to promote positive communication and peace of mind. This workshop is recommended for parents who have children 12 years and older.

Systematic Training For Effective Parenting  (S.T.E.P.)

Fathers’ Parenting Program

A group for men interested in increasing their parenting skills. Topics include: the gifts of parenthood, conflict resolution, anger, communication styles, discipline and nurturing. This group will give you the opportunity to participate in non-judgmental discussions on issues relevant to creating good relationships with your children based on peaceful, respectful behaviour. Many parents experience parenting teens as more difficult than the “Terrible Twos”. In fact, these two very different age groups actually have a lot in common. This group is to understand your anger, the causes of how to limit the damage done by it. My Tween and Me

Designed for parents of children ages 7 to 12 years. My Tween and Me Parenting Program is based on recent research showing that the tween years are far more developmentally significant than previously thought. The program confirms the ability of parents to positively influence the lives of their school aged children to reduce the likelihood that they will participate in risky behaviours, such as substance use, early sexual activity, or gambling, as they move into their teen years.
