On Call Job Posting

We are looking for on call Early Childhood Educators, Early Childhood Educator Assistants and Childcare Workers to join our childcare services in various programs offered by Burnaby Family Life.  Team member needs to be familiar with multicultural communities as many of our families are recent newcomers to Canada.

Daily duties include: working as a part of the team in planning and implementing developmentally appropriate activities for the children from ages 8 weeks to 10 years, assisting them with dressing and toileting routines, preparing and serving snack, observing and documenting children’s development.

Requirements:
•    Early Childhood Educator License to practice
•    Early Childhood Educator Assistant License to practice
•    Some experiences working with children in different age groups  
•    Food Safe level one certificate
•    Valid Child Safe certificate

Wages: $13.76/hr for ECE Assistants and $15.00/hr for ECEs
