| Vancity Community Project grant and the support of local business woman, Selina Pirmohamed, an RBC investment advisor. The centre has been operating for 12 years and cares for and feeds up to 24 young children, usually up to 17 with teenage mothers who continue to work on their high school and post secondary education while receiving assistance from childcare staff on a daily basis.
